“One day, Edmund knocked on the door of My Fucking Comedy Club asking how to get on stage. Weeks later, Brazilian audiences were already watching his show in Portuguese! 100% DIY: he produced, promoted, and delivered a hypnotizing performance himself!”

“We highly recommend Edmund's performances. He put on 2 shows of “The American Hypnotist” with great success in our theaters in May 2026. Everything he did, both on stage and off, was exemplary, and we are eager to bring him back for future runs of shows.”

“I hosted Edmund during a residency where we explored hypnosis, movement, and dance… Our time together was an inspiring exchange of ideas and practices, investigating how hypnosis can open new pathways for movement, creativity, and memory. He was thoughtful, ethical, and easy to work with throughout the residency. I would gladly recommend him to anyone interested in exploring hypnosis in a creative and responsible way.”

Hey, I'm Edmund.
Professionally, I'm a hypnotist. As the world's #1 Hypnotist, I've performed hypnosis on stage in Portuguese and Spanish, I've worked at a French self-hypnosis startup... conducted research on hypnosis + dance... I've explored the field far and wide on both an entrepreneurial and international level.
But more accurately, I'm a time traveler. As a child to Chinese immigrants, I grew up in Oklahoma, went to Yale, and instead of taking the traditional path, I backpacked the world for a year.
It was from traveling that I realized the power of my charisma and voice, and dedicated my life to using these gifts to help others time travel to different realities.
At 24, everything I've seen comes down to a single truth: If you want to change anything in your life, if you want to be #1 in the world at what you do, hypnosis is your answer. Hypnosis is the future of human potential, and it's my duty to un-gatekeep it the best I can.
The American Hypnotist is a digital media company producing hypnosis audio, video and a weekly newsletter for entrepreneurs and creators.
