Forever Young in Thailand

“Damn, it's over,” I think to myself.

It was over... this small yet poignant phase in my life - in our lives. The phase of being 22, solo traveling in the most backpacker friendly country in the world, having the energy to go out every night and wake up without a huge hangover, not knowing anyone, not worrying about anything except for the sails of luck to carry us through the winds of life.

I came to Thailand to experience beaches, fun, and spontaneity. But more than anything, this place gave me that clarity, that sense of urgency... and an unparalleled closeness to the secrets of this life.
