As a proud American who grew up in Oklahoma, graduated from Yale, and traveled to 56 countries, Edmund believes in a single idea: that you can change your life by changing your thoughts.
In 2026, he is executing ONE MIND 2026, a year-long mission to perform live stage hypnosis in five languages across five countries. Brazil was first, closing with a Portuguese-language debut at My F Comedy Club in São Paulo. Argentina was next, ending in two Spanish-language shows in the famous Paseo la Plaza of Buenos Aires.
Edmund's path to this purpose was unconventional. Following his education at Yale, he solo backpacked around the world. His travels have brought him through:
- A silent Vipassana retreat
- A month walking the Camino de Santiago without a phone
- Bartending in a Brazilian party hostel
- Studying Chinese in Taipei
- Camping at Burning Man
- Performing at artist residencies in Puerto Escondido, Mexico
- Interning at a French self-hypnosis startup
- Competing on the world's largest live blind dating show
Each experience has brought him a different state of human consciousness worth understanding.
In his travels across 56 countries, Edmund realized that America's greatest export, the conviction that you can change your life circumstances, was largely missing from everywhere he went, gatekept in an English-speaking, American ecosystem. ONE MIND 2026 is his mission to un-gatekeep it, one country, one language at a time.
As a child of immigrants, Edmund understands the power of shifting life timelines, and wants the same for everyone else. Today, he is based in Paris, where he is translating the American Dream into French.
